Mini Priceline Skincare Haul

Hi Everyone

So last friday I recieved an email notification telling me of the great deal that is on today and tomorrow at participating priceline stores. 40% off Skincare! I was so excited I rushed in this morning and could see that many popular items had already been rushed off the shelves (fortunately I recently bought La Roche-Posay's Effaclar Duo as this was out at my local priceline, only a bit of a shame as I would of been happy to stockup). So I went home happy with La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel; Yes To Tomatoes Daily Pore Scrub; and Burt's Bees Spot Treatment.

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel

I read a few reviews online about this and am looking forward to trying it out as so far I have only heard good things about the La Roche-Posay brand. Currently I am still trying to finish off my  Avene Cleanance Soapless Gel Cleanser which is good but I am still looking for my HG cleanser. RRP $19.99 for 200ml but today I paid $12.00.

Yes To Tomatoes Daily Pore Scrub

At first I was considering buying the Yes to Tomatoes facial mask but decided against it as I recently purchased Formula 10.0.6 Keep Your Cool mask, which feels very cool but soothing. So instead I decided to purchase this daily scrub as I am currently running low on the scrub that I recieved aaaaggeees ago in a subscription box. This has a bit of a strange smell, not a normal tomato smell, which is what I was expecting to be honest, but scents dont seem to bother my skin too much. Looking forward to trying this. RRP $14.99 for 113g but I paid $9.00.

Burt's Bees Spot Treatment

I am a little bit cautious of using a 'natural' option to treat my spots as typically I have always been under the belief that the more chemicals in a product means the more effective it will be. However this usually just causes my typically oily skin to be oily in some spots and then very dry and flaky in other parts. Hopefully this will help in treating my spots but not overdrying my skin at the same time. This product retails for $19.99 for 7.5ml (which I would not of paid, however this product does seem like it will last quite a long time) but was on sale for $11.99.

What Has Been on My Lips

Good arvo to those of you in Aussie land

So I have been buying up and trying some new lip products so I figured I should share and let you know my thoughts. I am currently in between loving lip glosses and lipsticks, so the perfect fit would be chubby sticks. Not quite lipstick as they are typically sheerer but also provide some glossiness to lips. I also purchased a new lip balm which I am a bit undecided about.

Drum roll please...

So I am a little bit ashamed to say that I mainly know of this lipbalm thanks to their promoting using the Kardashian family. However I did need a new lipbalm and I liked the idea of not having to use my fingers, which is what I do with my favourite paw paw ointment by Nude by Nature. I bought this off eBay for $6.46, however that listing has ended and been relisted with a new price of $7.99. For the price, this product is alright. It does make my lips feel better and moisturised, however it does nit actually sink in and rather just sits on top of the lips. So my lips feel dry about a half hour later. However it is very handy and great for on the go use when you dont want to get sticky hands. I would probably not repurchase though and just stick with paw paw.

Face of Australia Sheer Gloss lip crayon in cupcake, macaron and sundae

These lip crayons are fanastic, they add a sheer flush of colour to my lips, feel mosturising, and have a lasting power of a few hours but are easy enough to top up without needing a mirror. So i bought these from my local kmart in.a pack for $14.75, I mainly wanted the red and brown coloured crayons but I could not find them sold separately, but for about $4.90 a piece I don't mind buying all 3.

These are wind up and a great thing to keep in your handbag when you just want a little bit of colour in your life.

Yet another wind up lip crayon, I just love this colour, it gives my lips a slightly darker nude lip with glittery sparkles, which will not be loved by all, but I think it adds another dimension to the colour. This formula I don't find as moisturising as the Face of Australia ones, but I just prep with balm beforehand. This does have a better lasting power than the other crayons however, lasting 4-5 hours without eating or drinking. The picture however doesn't really give the glitter factor any justice.

Covergirl Outlast Stay Brilliant Polish

Hi guys

I have finally got around to taking a picture of my Covergirl Outlast Stay Brilliant nail polish in colour 220 Toasted Almond.

This is a gorgeous colour with my skin tone. I have received a tonne of compliments and had people even asking me if it was shellac because it just looks so glossy.

The formula was great, and with this dark colour it was opaque within one layer, however I chose to add an extra layer just in case. The brush was also large enough that you could get the whole nail in 'almost' one swipe, it was so close! It is very glossy and does not need a top coat, it also claims to include a base coat so you do not need to do anything other than this. However I found it did last that little bit longer with a top coat. I used o.p.i.'s top coat and it managed to last 4-5 days with minimal chipping, which is a lot for someone like me as my nails take quite a beating st work. There was no staining of the nail as well, and it was easy to take off.

I plan on posting more posts soon so stay tuned!
